EASY MAC
Today we are writting a review on a popular snack with many college students, and that is Easy Mac. Easy Mac is a product that is a part of the
Kraft Foods Company. Many of us grew up eating a variety of the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese products. Whether it was Spongebob Squarepants style, or just the original everyone loved Kraft Mac and Cheese. Now we are at college though. Mom is no longer around to waste fifteen minutes of her day making us lunch and the school won't let us have cooking appliances in our room. So what's the alternative?
All you need is a microwave! You don't need a bowl because it comes with one. You don't need to add milk or butter! There is some white dust already in the bowl for you which I guess will apparently just take it's place. All it takes is a little bit of water, there is even a line on the cup for us that are not that great at cooking or measuring. All you have to do is put the cup in the microwave for three and a half minutes and wait............. Okay not tak it out add your little packet of cheese, stir it up with you eating utencile and you have what tastes just like a home cook meal. Okay, maybe not but it probably tastes better then whatever dinner was that night.
This begs the question... Is Easy Mac the best dorm room snack ever?

ReplyDeleteI can remember the days of coming home after school in like third grade and whipping up a bowl of easy mac. So easy, a third grader can make it. And to this day while living here on campus, I'm still eating this stuff. Not only is it easy to make, hence the name, but its also a cheap. Also, you don't need a stove to make it, which is extra reliable, especially to the college kids living in dorm rooms. Its not like this stuff is garbage mac n cheese either. It's actually pretty good. The invention of putting them in bowls and making them microwave friendly made them even more popular, which obviously helps KRAFT significantly. Surprisingly, not many other companies have had this idea. Although, some soups have begun to copy KRAFT. I also have a bunch of that stuff too! It's about the budget as the life of a college kid!
Hey Ben, I would have to agree with you on easy mac being one of the best dorm room foods ever. They are real easy to make and they taste great. I eat easy mac all the time. The only thing that could be in this debate is ramen noodles. Which one tastes better is the eaters opinion, but ramen noodles are cheaper. I would have to agree with you on the easy mac though. There is nothing better than just popping them in for a midnight snack.
