Are you looking for a good movie to see in the theater? Well i have the best one for you! Zero Dark Thirty is one of the best films of the century according to critics. out of a 100% rating this film came in with an impressive 94%. The stars in the film were Jessica Chastain, Joel Edgerton and Chris Pratt. Even though they are not well known this film changed their careers as actors. But the most important actors in the film are the Navy Seals, Seal Team six. The actual men and women that are serving today are in the movie. So there are no actors playing their role, so the motions and way they act is real. This is real important for me at least to see actual Navy Seals participating in the movie because I really dislike when people are trying to be someone that they are not. Zero Dark Thirty is a film that is based on a true story. This is not only a movie, but its part of our history. As we all know the United Sates has been looking for Osama Bin Laden for years, because we know he had some role in participating in the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Centers. November 16, 2012 was the day we found and took him out. The president told the nation in a 60 min speech telling us what they did.The movie shows actual footage of how, when, and where they took him down. This picture is actual footage in the movie when they were about to find Osama bin Laden. Also if you look closely enough the uniforms and even weapons that they are using are real no prop guns. According the Matt Taibbi an well respected journalist for the Rolling Stones Magazine, said this ones was of the best movies out there. His Exact words were" I was blown away. This is the official trailer for the movie. if this does not get your heart racing i do not know what will. Even this trailer is action packed so you can only imagine what the real movie is like. Personally i would recommend this movie to anyone that is interested in history and War.
Yo Tom great post man. This seems like a great movie. It reminds me of Act of Valor which also used real military people and not actors. Act of Valor was a great movie it was action packed and like you said I hate when actors play people they are not. I hope I am able to see this movie because it had to do with our history. Plus I hate Bin Laden for screwing with and killing American people. I don't if you seen The Expendables 2 but that is my favorite action movie of all time. It has comedy, action, and Chuck Norris so how could you not like that movie. But Zero Dark Thirty will compare to Act of Valor and Black Hawk Down in my mind because it is a it uses real people and its based off of a real event. But good job man I like the trailer and pictures a lot.
First off, great post. I ended up seeing this movie for myself about a month ago and I can clearly see what you are trying to say in this post. It is a great film that speaks of the unsung hero that none of us knew about. Even though it has been under scrutiny lately it is still a great film that tells the people of the world almost the full story of how we were able to kill one of the most hated and evil persons in the history of mankind. Granted at time the films seemed to drag on and become kind of dull. But as it wrapped up it showed it true colors. But I was kind of disappointed at the ending. I was expecting to hear a trail off of the President giving the announcement speech that he gave when it actually happened. Oh well, things happen.
Very good post. I thought it was a pretty solid movie. I am not a huge movie fan but I did see this one. It was a very well done movie. They went into some very in depth detail and it is a great story. Having said that it was one of the top movies this year not sure about this century though. Great movies are good from beginning to end. This movie was good in the beginning, a part or two here or there, and then had a solid ending. Although I do want to know where the lady who had to hunt down Binladen goes when she is sitting on that big plane by herself at the end. For me though the hour and a half in the middle of the movie where like three things happen was a little dry. Good movie in my opinion but not an all time great. Definitely at least worth seeing though.
